iiiiiiBeing self conscious comes and goes honestly. I usually don’t care too much. I can eat healthy and exercise, but there are sometimes where I’m not eating the best and not really taking care of my body, and I definitely feel more gross, and I don’t like it at all. It depends. But right now I’m okay with it.
I compare myself to who I’m surrounded by, and not so much to society. I pay attention to it of course because it’s hard to miss in the media, but for me I mostly compare myself with who I’m with day to day.
The main reason I wanted to do this is because it sounded fun, honestly. It’s a good thing, and everyone has a good body. It’s more about within and what you think about your body than what anybody else says about your body. You’re so fine and you should love yourself just the way you are, and I feel like we all have good bodies. I just support body positivity.
It’s so hard to hear anybody talking about their body in a negative way, myself included, but it makes me so sad. Children especially; I’ve heard six and seven year olds talk about their body negatively, and I just think “what is going on here?" You’re beautiful, and it doesn’t really matter what your size is, even though it does feel like that on so many days. It doesn’t matter what size you are.
